As we look to host Aotearoa Youth COP in 2025, we're recruiting for our volunteer team to help organise our exciting event!
Help us be a strong voice for grassroots climate action across Aotearoa!
The Youth Climate Collective plans to host “Aotearoa Youth COP ” in 2025 to allow young people (aged 14 - 30) across the country to debate, negotiate and deliver a set of climate policies pivotal for a net-zero 2050.
This will be an opportunity to discuss pressing issues relating to Mitigation, Adaptation, Indigenous Communities, Infrastructure, Health, Finance, Just Transitions & more.
The dynamic event will bring together young people from diverse communities to help prepare an Aotearoa Youth Climate Statement that will be shared with the Minister of Climate Change, the New Zealand Government and at COP30 in Brazil.
Please note: Volunteers must be 18+ and based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland to be eligible to apply.
